We
are constantly trying to find ways of helping the
environmental impact of what we do when producing our
laser labels & avery
labels.
Our production facility benefits from
a state of the art waste management system. The process of label manufacture
like any manufacturing process does create some wastage. Due to the make up of
label materials we are unable to recycle some of this waste but we do where we
can. The balance goes to Landfill or burning in some instances. Either way we
are able to minimise the impact of this via our Waste extraction system which
take the typically light but bulky waste material and chops it into very small
pieces which are then compacted into approx 1/7 to 1/10th of their original mass.
This improves handling efficiency, in many ways such as considerably reducing;
factory handling, road miles
per tonne of waste and give the added benefit of being more efficient to burn
or to place in land fill. (Taking up to as little as 1/10 of the requirement
of non compacted waste)
At cheap laser labels this waste management is only implemented by a handful
of leading laser labels, avery
labels & inket label manufacturers.
We use as few resources as we can. Fewer resources
mean less waste!
We use vegetable based inks.
Most of the presses used to print are supplied
by power with onsite generators. Using onsite direct electricity
benefits us by not using electricity from the national
grid which wastes 2/3 of power before we even receive

We use paper made from sustainable forests
where trees are farmed as crops. For each tree used 3 more trees
are replanted. We encourage the use of recycled ECF* or TCF* paper
stock (*elementally or totally chlorine free).
We recycle any waste that is produced during
the production process.
We offer batch printing not only is this cheaper
per unit but also reduces waste.
Paper components are either ECF or TCF grade manufactured using pulp from sustainable,
managed resources. All dimensions are nominal target specifications, but may
vary. All products within our range are manufactured under ISO9001:2008
